At PineWoodsAI, transparency about how we use AI and handle your data is foundational. This page explains how Athena Prime and the Relational Intelligence Fabric (RIF) work, what data is shared with third-party models, and the safeguards we apply.

How Athena Prime and the Relational Intelligence Fabric Work

Athena Prime is powered by our proprietary Relational Intelligence Fabric (RIF) — an orchestration and relational intelligence layer. The RIF does not generate responses on its own. Instead, it:

- Intelligently routes user inputs across multiple third-party large language models (currently OpenAI/ChatGPT, Anthropic/Claude, Google/Gemini, and xAI/Grok).

- Applies additional relational context (tone, timing, intention, internal state awareness) to synthesize more nuanced, human-aligned insights.

- Produces outputs such as Health Graph correlations, Health Personality profiles, Crucial Metrics, and nervous system patterns.

All final text outputs you see are generated by the underlying third-party models, enhanced and synthesized by the RIF.

How We Protect Your Data (Anonymization & Minimization)

Before any data leaves our systems for orchestration:

- We take technical measures to minimize sensitive information sent to third-party models, including anonymizing or pseudonymizing names, identifiers, raw biometrics, and detailed health records on our servers where feasible.

- Only de-identified or minimized text needed for the specific request is routed to the frontier models.

This approach allows us to retain full ownership and control of our proprietary analysis methodology and derived insights while leveraging powerful foundation models responsibly.

What Is Sent to Third-Party Models

We take technical measures to avoid sending raw biometric streams, full health records, genetic data, or highly sensitive personal wellness information to third-party models when possible. Only de-identified or minimized text required for natural language processing is sent.

The current list of third-party AI providers we use is:

- OpenAI (ChatGPT)

- Anthropic (Claude)

- Google (Gemini)

- xAI (Grok)

This list may change. We will update this page when material changes occur.

Data Retention and Deletion

Upon a valid deletion request, we delete your data from active production systems promptly (typically within 30 days) and purge residual copies from backups within 90 days, subject to legal obligations.

De-identified or aggregated data that cannot reasonably be linked to you may be retained indefinitely to improve the RIF and our Services.

Training Data and Third-Party Models

We configure our integrations with third-party AI providers to opt out of training data use where that option is available. We do not use your personal data to train third-party foundation models.

Our Commitment to You

We designed the RIF and our data pipeline with privacy and user ownership in mind. You retain ownership of your raw inputs. We own the proprietary methodologies and system architecture. Derived insights are provided for your personal use and are subject to your deletion rights.

We do not sell your personal information.
